This is what it is all about. I spend most of my time looking for unique one of a kind tables made by old school American trades men. This table was custom made by a welder that had specific needs for his type of work. I like how each piece is a unique signature of the maker who crafts their own equipment. I try to find as many as I can but this type of art is harder and harder to find these days.The rustic and practical (not to mention sturdy) design is a true American original. We took the exact screen process and intensity in the painting and applied it to these limited edition shirts resulting in a piece of wearable art. Each shape was individually hand printed making this a nine color piece— we were quite surprised if it was even possible! Used to simulate various dental procedures these manikins are used as stand ins before working on real people. Very striking and possibly creepy to some I find these models amazing to look at. Vintage 1960 Mao Propaganda Poster

I was on a buying trip and stopped in at my friends shop. We were chatting for a while (he has been in the business for 30+ years) and he said ‘I have something to show you! I was wondering what he was up to since I was telling him I was into unique print work. I went into his office and he showed me an amazing collection of unused propaganda posters dating from the 60’s! He told me he found these we he was on a buying trip and they were never used and look fresh as the day they were made. I managed to snag a few off of him and I will be posting this limited score little by little. There are a nice visual reference of strong bold work that has inspired many designers creating variations of these design that we still see to this day. Measures: 20.5” x 28.5”

1931 Dye Cubby Hole Unit

A very cool and versatile cubby unit from 1931 made by Putnam. Piece had nice tin-litho printing inside and out with nice wear mounted on a nice wooden structure. Inside cubby holes are marked with the colors of each dye, but would make a great little organizer for small items, tools or paper goods. Suitable for a desk top to keep all your gear nice and tidy or can be used as a remarkable store display. Measures: 19 x 14 x 7” with the cubby openings measuring 2” x 3”

Vintage Copper Metal Glove Mold

This old glove mold was once used to cast rubber gloves. The outside has some remnants of the plastic on the fingers, but I think it adds character to the piece. You could clean it down to the metal if you wanted a bright shiny piece, but I suggest you leave it as it. Made from solid copper piece has life like gesture that would make a great vase-measures: 8” x 4”

’ He quit and the mask wasn’t painted. The new guy painted it sliver—then he left. Then another guy painted it red changed his mind and went green—he was fired. The last guy painted it white. He was a one of the best welders we had, but he was quite an asshole.’
